When Grand Master Tiger started to teach me, I used to get so frustrated and upset, but one day it all clicked! Now I look back on those days and feel so proud of what I have achieved. Hey, my name is Ruben the Raccoon and I think verb tense is so cool! It’s probably the hardest thing I had to learn, but when I finally got it I was so happy with myself. Now I write different pieces in different tenses just to show my teachers how much I have learnt.

Now I write all sorts of things: stories, diary entries, letters, I just can’t stop. Hi, my name is Freddie the Mouse. When I was younger I found using the correct punctuation really challenging! I had to work really hard and received a lot of help from Grand Master Tiger. Eventually, I started to feel more confident and now I can use any type of punctuation I like. Now I want to help children who were just like me. My advice to anyone would be if you try your hardest and never give up you can achieve anything you want to.

macaw I started school and started to learn about different sentence types. It felt so complicated, and I wanted to give up so many times; but Grand Master Tiger encouraged me to keep working on it. Now I find sentence types really easy – I have even been asked to help some of my friends in class; so my advice to you would be never given up because you will get it eventually and when you do, you’ll feel amazing!
